INFO WEBINAR 2: Moving the Entrepreneurship Education Agenda Forward

Find out more about the SEECEL hosted webinar on Wednesday 18 May 2016 (14:00 - 14:40 CET)

Background
Entrepreneurship education is increasingly becoming a priority for governments throughout Europe. Providing entrepreneurship education at all levels of education (from pre-school through to higher education) is not about teaching children and youth how to launch a business – it is about equipping them with knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable them to confidently ‘turn ideas into action’. The entrepreneurship competence is thus equally valuable competence in business, non-profit and public administration settings.

Webinar focus and speakers
As one of the consortium members leading the European Entrepreneurship Education NETwork (known as the EE-HUB), the South East European Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (SEECEL) organised a webinar to bring this topic closer to the wider public. Featuring international expert panelists working in the area of entrepreneurship education, the webinar presented good practices, identified success factors and reflected on challenges in implementing entrepreneurship education.

Target group of webinar
The webinar was targeted at all stakeholders that share an interest in entrepreneurial learning (and/or in entrepreneurship and education policy more broadly), including policymakers, educators and experts.
