Jürgen Siebel, Head of International Business Siemens Professional Education, Germany
Jürgen is representing Siemens in the Societal Changes Working Group (SCWG) of the European Roundtable of Industrialists (ERT) and was a co-initiator of the Global Enterprise Project (GEP), which promotes greater understanding and awareness among young people about globalisation, entrepreneurship and the skills they need to succeed in the global economy. Jürgen drives teh company's professional education projects outside Germany. Jürgen represents Siemens on international and cross-industry bodies promoting (dual) work-based models as key components of any education reform agenda. He believes that entrepreneurship education deserves more weight in secondaryschool curricula.
